	Weather Oceanside's weather was ranked 5th best of the world's top 10 destinations by USA Today. The warm, clear and sunny climate allows visitors to enjoy the beach as much in January as they do in July.
Surf Oceanside hosts nearly 30 surf and body board competitions each year including a stop on the professional BudSurf Tour. The City also offers a surf camp for 8 to 15-year-olds and a Junior Lifeguard Program for 9 to 16 year-olds.
	Family Beach Activities Amenities include fire rings, three city parks, BBQ grills, public showers and restrooms, volleyball poles and much more. The Beach Community Center, just north of the pier, has a full range of activities for all ages and at all times of the year.
	Strand The mile-long oceanfront strand offers easy beach access and a beautiful promenade to stroll, jog, bike or skate along the beachfront.
Amphitheater The beautiful beach amphitheater features major name entertainers during the summer Seagaze Concerts. The amphitheater also hosts other entertainment and community events throughout the year.	Downtown The downtown area adjacent to the beach offers beach and surf equipment rentals, restaurants and attractions such as the Oceanside Sea Center, the California Surf Museum and much more.
